Listening to RSA QLD Certified Servers is a Good Choice

RSA QLD students know that RSA certificates are required for anyone working with alcohol in a licensed venue.   That is because, to be blunt, drunk people can do some very dumb and sometimes scary things.

Sometimes the things people do while intoxicated are amusing.  It is hard to keep a straight face while watching someone tackle karaoke after having a few too many drinks, especially when trained RSA QLD staff are on hand to refuse that person more liquor.  However, drunk dialing or drunk texting?  Not so cute.

Drinking alcohol affects how decisions are made.  The choice to leave long, weepy messages on your ex’s voice mail is never a good decision.  The same goes for texting.  In fact, it can be worse with texting.  Without the visual body cues or cues that can be picked up from the tone of a voice, the person on the other end of the text may not know you are texting drunk.  This could be problematic if you are proclaiming love to someone who is attached to another, telling a lost love or relative in no uncertain terms how angry you are with them or the all time classic – you are texting something personal to the wrong number.  You should thank your RSA QLD qualified server for hinting you have reached your drink limit.  He or she may be saving you from an embarrassing fate.

Clearly worse than drunk texting or dialing is drunk driving.  There is simply no excuse for drunk driving.  Ever!  If you cannot afford a cab, go with a designated driver.  Thinking you have the motor skills to operate a large, speeding machine that is basically a death machine if not operated with the utmost safety is foolish, irresponsible and just plain dumb.  Your decision to drink and drive could cost you your life or the life of someone else.  How would you feel when you sobered up and learned that you killed someone?  That because of you somebody will not be going home to their kids?
Somebody will not graduate?  Somebody lost their child?  When all you had to do was call a cab or get a ride with a friend?  That is a feeling that you do not want.  RSA QLD staff may take some abuse from drunk patrons when they cut them off, but these RSA QLD servers are just doing their job – and ultimately even saving lives.

Just because you become of age to drink does not mean you have the right to abuse alcohol.  The reason you have to be a certain age to partake in this substance is because you are supposed to have developed a strong moral sense of reasoning by that age.  Since some people cannot control their intake or their actions when inebriated, it is necessary to have RSA QLD personnel on hand at all times in Queensland’s licensed eateries and gaming houses.    This is not to infringe on your fun.  It is to keep you from making a mistake that you may be too drunk to recognize.
